Progress on the Women Center

Last summer, we were able to raise enough funds to complete the roof of the Women's Center United for Peace. This was no small endeavor, and we are beyond grateful for the support of our partners and donors who helped us reach this goal. We first bought the wood and had it transported to the building site. The wood was used to build the frame of the roof. We then purchased the tin which was also transported into the area and covered the wood to protect it from the weather. Our partners in the Congo were eager to start this work once the supplies were bought and available. This has provided hope for the women and children who will soon use this building for shelter, resources, and vocational training.
